Hey hey, I’m Aidan Johnston, the founder, CFO, and often sole user of aidanjohnston.com. Before embarking on the long road towards writing a website bio, I got my start writing about skate culture for skateboard magazines, then I wrote about pop-culture online, and then I took those pop-culture influences and started turning them into ads (sorry). If you’re noticing a running theme here, yes, it’s that I am still talking about myself.

But also that my work is always motivated by a connection to culture, and aims to contribute something to the many different worlds I take so much inspiration from. At least that’s what I tell myself when my son asks me to skip ads on Youtube.
